Just a few days ago Universal Orlando Resort announced to its travel agents that The Shining would be coming to Halloween Horror Nights 27. Just a few hours  after posting, the article was taken down. Although there is no mention as to why it was taken down, we can assume that the official announcement will be coming sometime in the near future. This will be the first time The Shining will be making its way to Halloween Horror Nights.

The Shining (directed by Stanley Kubrick) is a film made in 1980, based on Stephen King’s 1977 novel. This films main character features Jack Nicholson. Jack’s character is hired to be the winter care taker of the Over-Look Hotel. He and his family move into the hotel and begin to see a change is Jack’s behavior. Becoming erratic and violent.

We can speculate that this house will most likely be inside one of the sound stages due to its intricate scenes. I would recommend you watch thing this film (that is if you haven’t already) prior to attending Horror Nights in order to get some more insight on the classic horror film.

Stay Tuned for an Update on the official announcement of the house!
